Organize Me
A Business That Uses Compassion to Keep Their Customers Happy

By Julie Worthington, Reporter

Janine Sarna-Jones has learned that to be a professional organizer, it takes more than the job title says. It also means creating a bond with the customers that sometimes lasts a lifetime.

Organize Me, Inc.is a business that does three main things. They organize messy homes and offices, help people with moving, and assist with estates after the death of a loved one.

"Myself and my team like to take on big projects," Sarna-Jones said. "We do hands on organizing."

Organize Me has a team of four employees that work under Sarna-Jones. She also reaches out to contractors both locally and nationally to get the job done.

Their work includes handling big home projects, apartments, Brownstones, and people living in Westchester and New Jersey. They have also worked with a client that was moving from NYC to Miami, and have had customers from as far away as Los Angeles and Austin, TX.

Clients can expect to pay approximately $175 per hour for the assistance of one person at Organize Me. According to Sarna-Jones, this also means they want to be of emotional assistance to them for whatever they are going through in their organizing and moving.

"I have been in the business for over 20 years," Sarna-Jones said. "What makes the job fun is giving the customers a sense of relief when we come (to their residence or place of business.)"

They want the customer to feel "so glad that they have met you" and to "feel good about whatever Organize Me is doing."

"Our mission is to reduce stress," Sarna-Jones added.

If a family needs to clear an estate, it's hard to throw away stuff when a loved one passes away, Sarna-Jones said. The Organize Me team try to exude empathy and patience in these situations.

Organize Me Team

Sarna-Jones credits her team for the business' success

"I really know how to put a team together to work with my clients."

Professional organizing has changed in a couple of ways over the past ten years.

"There are a lot more tech apps that you can use in your business," Sarna-Jones said. "There are also more professional organizers out there."

When asked to sum up the business, Sarna-Jones said with a laugh," Janine and her team can make your move to a new address a dream."
